Our Tea Farm

The Guardian Green Tea Farm is located on the tops of mountains where there have never been any industry – the cleanest and healthiest environment possible in the world. Only the first new sprouts in each spring (very top light greens of each bush) are picked for Guardian Green Tea customers.

Our special species of tea trees is edible – not just as a beverage tea, but they are actually whole food teas.

Our director Dr. Jane Feng Powley goes to China each spring to personally monitor the tea harvest to insure the highest quality.

Each leaf is carefully hand-picked.

The only possible transportation in these remote mountains is human.

Further selection by hand, and sun drying. This is the only green tea of its kind in the world that is not processed at high temperatures.
